Ways to Harmony

Stone Massage

Stone massage is a variation on classic massage therapy. Heated smooth, flat stones are placed on key points on the body. The therapist may also hold the stones and use them to massage certain areas of the body.

The stones are immersed in water and heated until they are within a certain temperature range. The stones may be placed at specific points on the back, in the palms of the hand, or between the toes.
The heat warms and relaxes the muscles, which allows the therapist to apply deeper pressure, if desired.
The warmth of the hot stones improves circulation and calms the nervous system.
As in Reflexology, the entire body can be seen "reflected" in the feet. Hot stone Therapy works with tiny Rocks between the toes to de-stress and stimulate the nerve endings in the feet. At the end, the healer would massage the feet with the stones and scented oil.

Stone massage is used as a therapy to relieve certain health problems such as arthritis, anxiety, stress, back pain, depression, insomnia and problems related to blood circulation.

The polished stones that I use are AQUAMARINE - helps to aid in the cure of all ailments relating to kidneys, bladder, retention of fluid in the body etc.
SHUNGITE - relieve pain and quickly disperses such toxins away from the individual.
JASPER - helps to treat kidneys, liver, bladder & stomach. It can help restore a lost sense of smell. Before I started using the stones I had charged them with Reiki which then increased the effectiveness of the stone massage.

The benefit of hot stone massage therapy is giving calmness to the mind, it helps you to go into a state of deep meditation. Meditation helps the body to rejuvenate from losses very easily and the body re-energizes and will be in a perfect condition to face challenges. If you are about to some important work, having a hot stone massage therapy one day ahead will keep your mind refreshed increasing your chances of success.
Massage is not recommended for certain people:
